The STRATUM LinX FOT-E-R1 is a 1550 nm wavelength DWDM forward path optical transmitter built into a standard 19″ rack of 1U height. All the needed components are mounted into the housing, like the power supply for 230 V AC or -48 V DC, and the optional monitoring transponder. The remote control doesn’t need Ethernet connection, thanks to the HMS communication via the RF port.
The default output power is 10 mW, which can be splitted into 2 or 4, and can be improved by an EDFA module in case of need.
