FOT-High performance 1310 nm forward path optical transmitter
Overview
The most critical element of a recent CATV network concerning the transmission parameters is the optical transmitter unit. The FOT-A device allows to achieve the best performance since it works with a cooled DFB laser with 1310 nm wavelength and with an output power of up to 25 mW. An easy use is warranted by the automatic gain control, and by the local management interface with the RF testpoint, both of them are placed on the frontal surface.
