Introduction
COMTECH Ltd. is a medium-sized, fully Hungarian-owned company, founded in 1990 with the goal of developing and manufacturing optical and broadband telecommunication devices.
Fifteen years later, we entered into a strategic partnership with a domestic company to jointly develop a family of electric power monitoring devices. Today, alongside the extensive and comprehensive product portfolio of our HFC division, energy monitoring has become a defining pillar of COMTECH’s future.
In the cable TV sector, our offering covers the full transmission technology and remote monitoring layer of CATV networks – including all necessary accessories.
The key to our success lies in our wide product range, optimal company size, and our highly qualified development team with over 30 years of professional experience. Our flexibility is further enhanced by the fact that all of our departments – management, development, sales, procurement, and manufacturing – operate in one location, at our headquarters in Győr.
Our products are manufactured in compliance with the ISO 9001 quality management system, and our technical competence is backed, among others, by our SCTE membership. Hundreds of service providers around the world choose us as a reliable partner – not only as a manufacturer, but also as a systems-level and device-level technical support expert, including on-site assistance.
We are proud to be a market leader in Hungary, a position that comes with responsibility. We actively support vocational training in Győr and maintain close cooperation with Széchenyi István University.
